Support for 16-year old female who struggles with her mental health and helps care for mother who has cancer.

This support is requested for my 16 year old client who struggles with financial hardship and risk of homelessness. She has had a period of housing instability over the last few years and has lived between many addresses and most recently, with support, reunifying back to her mother. Her mother is in active chemo treatment for cancer. This young person has faced a number of adversities at a young age and has caring responsibilities also for her mother and also worries for her father who has just been released from prison. This young person suffers with her mental health and sometimes when things all get too much and she struggles to cope, she self injures and considers suicide. As a result, this young person has had a number of hospital admissions, sometimes when in crisis, sometimes voluntarily, to help keep herself safe. Something she really struggles with in hospital is the noise and sensory overload. Having noise-cancelling headphones could help support during these stays.
