Our DV service works with many women and children who have fled violence and are rebuilding their lives from the ground up. We have noticed a significant number of clients suffering from the housing and cost of living crisis. They are struggling to purchase the necessary items such as brooms, hedge clippers etc they require to maintain their new tenancies. Often the difference between homelessness and stable tenancy comes down to access to such basics. Your assistance will mean they can work on their tenancy without worrying about using funds earmarked for feeding and clothing their children.
