2026 Victoria Bushfires
Resident who lives with her mother, husband and 11yo daughter needed to evacuate for a week with her mother who suffers from multiple health issues. They needed to self-fund a motel for a week until it was deemed safe to return to find a large freezer of meat and other frozen food spoiled, financial impact of approx. $800 loss not including motel expenses. Family is currently reliant in one income as resident is studying Bachelor of nursing while caring for her mother and raising her 11yo who currently being bullied at school. A fuel and grocery voucher would help to recoup the financial loss caused due to the fires.
