Our client arrived in Australia four months ago with her mother, hoping to build a safe and stable life. Since arriving, life has become increasingly challenging. She is currently living in shared housing with her sisters and is struggling to secure suitable long‑term accommodation for herself and her mother.
She is actively trying to find ways to earn additional income; however, limited work experience in Australia and language barriers have made this extremely difficult. These challenges have left the family financially strained and uncertain about their future.
Our client and her mother are in need of basic support, including clothing, as they work to settle and rebuild their lives. A voucher to assist with the purchase of essential clothing items would provide practical relief and, importantly, reassurance that they are not facing these challenges alone. Even modest assistance would help restore a sense of dignity and hope during this difficult settling period.
