Nan was extremely grateful for the fuel vouchers - I was hoping we could also give her $300 worth of groceries to help relieve her rent/housing burdens....this will help keep nan, our client and his sibling in their home while she is waiting for a new cheaper place not so isolated.

I am supporting an Aboriginal young man (16 yrs) who is being looked after by his grandmother
First Nations Support
The young man has been in and out of detention and has been transient with his schooling and housing, He is living with nan however they are quite isolated from nearest town (where there are more facilities and support). She is on the priority list for a house but in the meantime fuel costs are high. I am supporting the young man find employment and link up with his job provider. Nan has asked for some fuel vouchers (maybe worth $200) so it can ease bills during this time.
