Domestic & Family Violence
This mother and her two children are rebuilding their lives after experiencing prolonged domestic and family violence, severe neglect, and years of isolation within the family home. After living in fear and instability for a significant period of time, the family entered safe accommodation and has spent the past 12 months working toward healing, recovery, and independence. The impact of the trauma on both the mother and children has been profound. The children have experienced major disruptions to their childhood and education and are now beginning an important new chapter by returning to schooling for the first time in many years. Despite facing complex challenges, they are showing incredible courage and resilience as they adjust to routines, learning, and a safer environment. The family is now preparing to move into a new rental home and are looking forward to creating a stable and positive future together. Ongoing community support will help provide encouragement, hope and safety
