I am writing to seek support for a vulnerable single mother who is experiencing significant financial hardship while caring for her two sons, including a young child and a teenage boy. Despite her best efforts, she is struggling to meet the family's basic needs and has no support from extended family or other informal networks.
The family is currently facing considerable challenges in establishing a safe and comfortable home environment. They are urgently in need of essential household items, including:
Lounge couch/sofa
Refrigerator
Microwave
Beds and mattresses
In addition, both boys require age-appropriate clothing, including everyday wear, school clothing, and footwear.
The mother is also experiencing financial difficulties in covering transportation costs. Assistance with fuel vouchers would greatly support her ability to:
Transport her children to and from school
Attend important medical appointments
Access essential services and community supports
