This family lives on a very remote property in Cape York Peninsular and have lived there their whole lives. Everything the family has built on the property has been devastated destroyed and washed away during Tropical Cyclone Narelle and they have been isolated until just two weeks ago. The family are desperate for assistance to get the property cleared and ready for the oncoming fire season and tidy up the dwellings to make them more comfortable living arrangements so they can get back to work cleaning up the debris and destroyed orchards and gardens. The family are off grid as there is no access to services in their area with the closest Aboriginal community being 80 km away on a rough dirt road.
