This parent is rebuilding life after leaving a domestic and family violence relationship while continuing to care for their children. Although a protection order is in place, they continue to experience repeated breaches, including unwanted contact and the former partner attending the family home without permission, leaving the family feeling unsafe.
The parent has chosen to remain in the home to provide stability and continuity for their children during an incredibly difficult time. Despite working hard to support the family, the ongoing fear and emotional impact of the abuse have made it difficult to feel secure in their own home.
Support will help this family increase their sense of safety and begin to rebuild their lives with greater confidence, allowing the children to feel safer in the place they call home.
