This family is from a refugee background and they have a one year old baby. The husband is under-employed in an unstable job situation. Their apartment has been broken into serveral times in the past year. This is a fairly usual happening in their apartment complex and has them living in fear. They have been unsuccessful in their requests to the Department of Housing for a transfer and are frigthened for their safety. As they have come from an unsafe situation in their country of origin, these break ins are triggering bad memories and reiterating their fears that there is nowhere they can find safety.
