This lovely young lady that i am supporting, is undergoing intensive treatment for a severe cancer and is experiencing significant financial hardship related to her illness. She is the Primary corer for her four very young children and the families financial situation has been affected by reduced income and increased costs with treatment ,travel and living expenses. The family has recently made the move from Tasmania to Queensland to be closer to some family members. It is important to the client to be near family for cultural and spiritual reasons also. The client expressed concerns about meeting basic household needs and clothing for her children as coming in to colder weather. Some clothing gift vouchers for the children would be wonderful to provide some immediate practical support during this challenging period. The client is very engaged with her current treatment program. Thankyou very much.
