We are establishing a community food pantry to support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity in our local area. Our aim is to reduce food waste and ensure safe, fresh and frozen food is available to those in need.
We are seeking one commercial fridge and one commercial freezer to safely store perishable food items. These units will help us expand our capacity, accept more bulk donations, and keep food fresh and safe for distribution.
Having reliable refrigeration and freezer space will:
• Enable us to accept and store more donated produce, dairy, meat and frozen foods
• Reduce food spoilage and waste
• Provide consistent, safe access to perishable goods for vulnerable community members
