Child seeking asylum needs Ipad for School: parent faces financial hardship and other vulnerabilities

The child and his aunt have applied for protection in Australia. The child's aunt has been unwell, unable to work. They are still awaiting financial supports, which might take sometime. They have been in Brisbane for three months, couch surfing as they have had zero income. They have relied on charities for food and other basic necessities.
The boy has now been accepted into year 8 at his local state school and they have requested he brings an iPad. We have tried advocating to the school, however they do not have the resources to loan one to the boy.
The boy has now been out of school since last year, having an iPad is crucial to him resuming his studies.
School has requested the following: - iPad, iPad Air or iPad Pro (must be compatible with Apple pencil - minimum screen size o 9.7") - 64GB capacity minimum - Apple pencil (or Logitech Crayon) - must support iPadOS - Smart keyboard (optional)
