Single mother with multiple health conditions living with adult son who has a disability. Home was flooded and lost everything in 2022 - then mostly repaired but still in dangerous position due to health and mobility concerns - evacuated again in Cyclone Alfred.
Some support assisted to get back on their feet but still recovering and trying to get themselves out of the flood zone to a safer area.
Participant received successful buyback but unable to afford to buy and stay in local area with funds received. Is buying a mobile home for herself and son to live in which will require some additional support to set up for this to be permanent home as an option.
