We are seeking support for a woman who is transitioning from homelessness into a Department of Housing property. This is a significant and positive step forward, however she is starting from scratch and has very limited resources.
Some basic household items have already been sourced through community support, but there are still many essential items needed to help turn the property into a safe, comfortable, and functional home. At present, she has a limited income and no family or informal support networks to assist her.
Additional support would make a meaningful difference in helping her establish stability, maintain her tenancy, and rebuild her independence. Items that contribute to creating a sense of home, comfort, and security are especially needed.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated and will directly support her transition into stable housing and a fresh start.
