The client is currently experiencing severe financial hardship and has sought assistance after exhausting his Utility Relief Grant (URG) entitlement, making him ineligible for further utility grant support at this time. The family recently faced unexpected medical expenses of approximately $500, which significantly impacted their limited household budget. As a result, they are struggling to manage essential living costs and now have outstanding gas and electricity bills total of approximately $400. Although some support is available for their water bill, their financial situation remains extremely challenging. The client lives with his wife, three dependent children, and elderly mother, creating considerable household responsibilities and ongoing expenses. After covering rent, medical costs, utilities, and other necessities, there is insufficient income remaining for groceries and basic food items. The family is at risk of food insecurity and requires urgent assistance.
