I am supporting a single mother and her 7-year old child, who have been experiencing homelessness for the last year. They arrived to Australia two years ago, on a protection visa from Venezuela. They settled in South Australia, however relocated to Melbourne due to experiencing discrimination and challenges connecting to their community. They have now secured affordable, social housing, and are looking to furnish their new home.
