This family unit is comprised of a single Mo, 2 children with additional needs, her 8-year-old has a diagnosis of ASD level 3, intellectual impairment and is non-verbal and requires 24/7 support and supervision, her 7-year-old has ASD level 2.
The family unit has previously fled from DFV and are recently navigating grief and loss after Mum lost her Mum after a long battle with dementia. The family unit have secured a rental after a period of homelessness and have acquired additional space in the home, currently they have no bed frames, no chairs or a dining table. The family has demonstrated great perseverance and resilience navigating homelessness with additional needs and ensuring that the needs of the children are met.
