Young boy experiencing homelessness needs some support to navigate job loss

Young man in a small rural community has just lost his job, causing significant financial hardship. Due to parental homelessness, he has been couch surfing for several years and currently sleeps on the floor of his best friend's bedroom.
He has been working hard at the local grocer for 3.5 years but has recently lost his job as the grocer cannot afford to pay him award rates (he has just transitioned from junior rates to adult rates). He has no Centrelink income and his savings are quickly depleting. He is motivated to find more work with the goal of being able to afford stable housing, however work and housing opportunities in our rural town are very limited.
We are seeking support for him to access fuel vouchers so that he can expand his search for work and housing. We are also seeking grocery support to ensure that he is able to feed himself while he applies for more jobs as well as Centrelink.
