Resident is a 32-year-old man residing with partner and expecting the birth of child in July 2026. The bushfire event has resulted in the family living in caravan park which is not sustainable financially. Resident has dyslexia and is unable to complete online tasks or documents required to access services. There are physical health challenges due to a workplace injury which has resulted in the resident receiving Disability support payment. The bushfire and other trauma events including the death of a 6-year-old daughter only 6 months ago have impacted significantly on the resident's mental health. Face to face contact with support services is essential and a significant barrier is the price of petrol. Extreme financial hardship and an inability to meet other daily needs. Food and petrol vouchers would enable access to vital supports.
