Our client has been struggling to gain housing since loosing everything with his father in 2022 floods. He has been living in the Brunswick pods for the past 6 months & has been actively looking for stable work & housing. He has complex sensitivity to mould since ethe floods & mould is a continuous issue with the pods & many houses in the northern rivers post 2022 floods. Our client is requesting funding to help him turn his truck into a mobile living arrangement. He intends to get work out of the area & live remotely from his truck as that is the only way he can see around living in a mould free environment. The situation is so grim that living in vans & even tents is going to be a very real outcome for some of our residents post eviction date when the pods close in Oct.
