Resident lost his home, livestock, outbuildings, pasture, fences, equipment and a vehicle in the bushfire. He and his partner had to move and rent another home in the area so he can continue to try and do what he can on his farm.
This resident is underinsured and is waiting on his insurance provider to asses his loss and then he will be able to know what he has to work with, however, that won't happen in the near future.
He has lost any form of income for year and the cost of living is another impact on top of everything else, which is adding to the already huge stress he is feeling.
