This individual is an older lady a couple of years off 60.
As she enters her senior years, she sadly has found herself with some health complications. She is a survivor of domestic violence and has been homeless in the past. She also struggles with her mental health with ongoing depression and anxiety. Due to the necessary split with her ex, she does not talk with one daughter, The other daughter the relationship is rocky and on and off. As a result, she does not see the grand children that often so can become quite lonely. This daughter is also battling cancer currently.
This individual has had a tough 18 months with her health and a permanent drop foot which is making it difficult to attend to her personal care and house duties at times. We would like to support this lady to apply for NDIS to be able to continue to access the personal care and domestic assistance. This lady is unable to pay for an OT assessment for her NDIS application. We are looking for any financial assistance.
