This man in his 60s has always put family first. He lived on a 100‑acre property that he shared with his partner and three adult children—a home built on years of hard work, connection to the land, and family memories. The January 2026 bushfires destroyed everything they had.
Since the fires, the family has been doing their best to stay together, moving between camping on their damaged property and renting a small home when possible.
