My client is a mother of two children and a victim-survivor of domestic and family violence. She is currently experiencing housing insecurity and is navigating ongoing child custody proceedings, creating significant emotional, financial and practical challenges for her family.
Throughout these circumstances, she has continued to do her best to move forward. She remains engaged in employment, working two days per week where possible, and is actively taking steps to improve her situation. However, the combined impacts of family violence, unstable housing, legal matters, financial hardship and declining mental health have left her in an extremely vulnerable position.
She is currently struggling to meet essential living costs, including food, fuel and other day-to-day expenses. Assistance with food and fuel vouchers would provide immediate relief and help her maintain employment, attend important appointments and continue caring for her children during this difficult period.
