We are seeking assistance for a woman who has recently moved into a safe, long-term unit after experiencing domestic violence and associated mental health challenges. Prior to securing this housing, an aged care facility was her only available housing option due to her circumstances and lack of safe alternatives. This new unit represents an important opportunity for stability, recovery, and rebuilding her independence. However, she is starting again with very few belongings and urgently requires essential items to make her home safe and comfortable. We are seeking support with a bed and mattress, lounge seating, a dining suite, drawers or storage, washing machine, dryer, small kitchen appliances, and other basic household furnishings. Having a furnished and functional home will support her wellbeing, dignity, and ability to maintain stable housing long term. Any assistance would make a meaningful difference in helping her settle safely into her new home and continue rebuilding her life
