My client is a mother of four who recently fled a domestic violence situation. She is currently residing in temporary safe accommodation and is scheduled to move into her own rental property on 10 July.
The client has requested assistance with essential household items and food support vouchers. At present, her only source of income is Family Tax Benefit (FTB).
Household items can be arranged through the Rotary Club and delivered to her new residence on or after 10 July. In addition, she has requested a $200 food voucher to help provide for herself and her children until her next payment is received.
We respectfully request consideration and approval of this assistance to ensure the client and her children have access to the immediate support they need during this difficult transition. Any assistance provided will greatly contribute to their safety, stability, and wellbeing as they establish their new home.
