The client is a woman who is working to stabilise her life and transition safely back into the community. The woman entrusted her sister with the care of her home. As a result, the client has returned to a home without essential furniture and basic household items, leaving her in a vulnerable and challenging position as she attempts to rebuild her life.The client urgently requires assistance to obtain essential household items. Her bed mattress has been damaged with paint poured over the top leaving her sleeping on the floor as opposed to an unhealthy mattress. This is causing ongoing back discomfort and impacting her sleep and overall health. She is in need of clean towels and a basic lounge where she can sit and feel safe in her home. Whilst not an essential item a donated TV would provide meaningful daily engagement, support her mental wellbeing and reduce her sense of isolation while she works towards longer-term stability.
