Committed single mother caring for two adopted children who have been diagnosed with ADHD and FASD. Due to the complexity of their needs, she has made the difficult but necessary decision to stop full-time work in order to provide them with care, supervision and stability. In the past, she faced homelessness but now she has secured tenancy, and she is focused on creating a safe and supportive home environment for her children. One of the current concerns in her household is lack of appropriate storage for garden tools. These items pose a serious safety risk particularly given that her children may unintentionally harm themselves with the tools and she lives in a cyclone prone area.
Financial assistance to purchase a storage shed would provide a secure place for her to store the equipment and reduce safety risks which would give Ln peace of mind allowing her to focus on the children's care needs. Thank you for your considering this request.
