Client is a 43-year-old man who experienced homelessness and had been sleeping rough since 2017. In January 2026, he moved into long-term supported accommodation, which is now his permanent residence. He has adjusted well to his new living situation and has been actively engaging with support services, something he had previously declined.
His progress has been significant, particularly given that he was a well-known figure in the community where he once slept rough. Recently, he has expressed an interest in exploring his personal identity, including going clothes shopping with his case manager. He appears more at ease and has begun to communicate more openly with his support team. It is evident that access to new clothing would help further build his confidence and support his ongoing transition.
