Nana is an 86-year-old proud Aboriginal woman, respected family matriarch and devoted grandmother who is living with a disability, ongoing mental health challenges and significant financial hardship. Recently, Nana's home was broken into and extensively ransacked, resulting in the loss and damage of many essential household items. This traumatic experience has left her feeling vulnerable and unsafe in her own home and has had a substantial impact on her emotional wellbeing and sense of security. Nana is unable to replace the items that were stolen or damaged. As a result, she is struggling to maintain a safe, functional, and comfortable home environment. A key motivation for Nana is creating a safe, welcoming space where her grandchildren can spend time with her, helping to strengthen family bonds and support her wellbeing and recovery. Support to replace essential household items bedding and furniture would help restore comfort and stability to Nana's home to reduce financial stress
