Couple have been homeless and sleeping in a tent for 3 years. During this time, they would search for the safest place to pitch the tent, constantly worrying about the elements or the threat of theft to the point where they would take turns to sleep so someone could always watch over their belongings. Over the years, they have had to overcome many challenges including domestic violence, mental health issues, alcohol abuse, language barriers and physical illness. Their physical health has deteriorated significantly due to their living conditions resulting in multiple health issues, including a recent breast cancer diagnosis.
Fortunately, the pair have finally secured housing and a place to call their own so now they are in need of essential household items and furniture.
