Single mother of 4 young children, under 5 yrs old has experienced significant FDV over several years from fathers of her children. Mum now has a place of her own with her children and starting fresh. Due to high rent and rise in essential items Mum is struggling financially. Minimal support from fathers of children, and Mum has done well to live on a tight budget so far. With upcoming medical appointments for Mum and 2 of her children, (ASD assessment, ENT & Mum is unsure how she will pay for these and her utility bills. One of the children has complex needs and in process of diagosis which is a lot of driving and children are at 3 different drop offs each day, 2 child care centre and 1 school. Mum engages well and her children needs are her priority, and being a young mum deals with judgement and her own insecurities, therefore has become socially isolated. Mum has recently received a medical diagnosis requiring several appointments and surgery which will be at an additional cost.
