Devoted grandmother caring for her four grandchildren, aged 3, 5, 6, and 10. The children were placed in her care due to concerns about their parents’ substance use and unsafe conditions. Since moving in with grandmother, the children have flourished, routines are established, school attendance is consistent, grades are improving, and their physical and emotional wellbeing has strengthened. She has rearranged her life to provide a safe and stable home, all while continuing to work. Despite her unwavering commitment, she faces financial challenges in meeting the needs of four growing children, including bills, school supplies, and extracurricular activities. Thanks to her care, the children feel secure, are thriving academically, and show positive changes in behaviour and confidence.
