Single mum with 6-year child, came to Australia on a Visa and endured significant domestic violence from her husband. After fleeing this situation she lived with her child in 2 refuges over a 12-month period. She has recently secured accommodation in a transitional property and has just obtained her drivers licence. She works school hours, receives a low income and is reliant on her car to get her to and from work. Due to her Visa status she is not eligible for any government assistance including Medicare and due to the DV it is extremely dangerous for her to return to her home Country. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.
