My client is a young Indigenous mum of two, who has faced major adversity in her life due to previous domestic violence, poor mental health and complex trauma. She is currently in the process of being diagnosed for an Intellectual Disabaility and she has reached out for support in the last few months and has the goal of reunification with her children - this means she is also having to priorities her own mental health and wellbeing and has spent a significant amount of time working on her healing. She is currently accessing counselling supports and managing her mental health but is struggling to balance this with the basics. She is currently staying in temporary accommodation and will need a lot of assistance to move out on her own. Any support would be much appreciated.
