Other hardship(s)
Young mother of a 2yo son who is working extremely hard to create a safer and more stable future for both herself and her child. She is currently in the process of leaving a toxic DV relationship with her ex-partner, who struggles with ice addiction. Despite her efforts to support him in becoming clean and maintaining the family unit, she recognises the need to prioritise her and her son’s safety and is planning to separate with appropriate support. She is currently working 2 jobs and intends to return to study in October. However, her ex-partner still has access to her bank account and continues to use her finances to fund his addiction. She fears potential repercussions if this access is removed. As a result, her accounts are consistently overdrawn, as she is left covering significant debts incurred by him. The situation has escalated to the point where drug dealers have attended her home demanding payment for his debts. Any support during this time would be sincerely appreciated.
