40 yo male residing in Lismore area with this wife and three young children at the time of the 2022 flood event. Home was completely flooded and family needed to be evacuated. Lost home and possessions as a result. The family have relocated to Beaudesert area to be closer to family support. Consumer, his wife and one child experience ongoing storm related symptoms and are accessing mental health support. Further impacted by Christmas storm 2023 and Cyclone Alfred 2025 and local storm events. Consumer and his wife work full time, however struggling financially to pay regular bills (rent, electricity etc) as well as providing basic needs such as food and clothing. Further demands on family unit due special needs of two children and financial support paid to two other children from a previous relationship.
