GIVIT
We are a 10-bed mental health unit part of the Western Mental Health and Wellbeing services. Our team consists of psychosocial recovery practitioners, peer support workers, nurses, social workers, occupational therapists and doctors who provide recovery focused support, care and promote linkages in the community for those experiencing challenges with their mental health and need additional support. We offer a step-down service after an inpatient admission to support clients ongoing recovery and transition home, and also a step-up service for those living in the community to prevent further deterioration.
We are limited by funding to continue to meet the aims of our program which include recovery and therapeutic group program, therapeutic and comfortable spaces and providing resources for residents for their ongoing recovery.
We are requesting donation of vouchers to support our art therapy student for resources to run therapeutic groups during her placement here at PARC.
