Christmas should be a time of joy, excitement and belonging for every child. However, many families in this remote First Nations community are experiencing financial hardship, high living costs and limited access to affordable shops and services.
For some parents and carers, meeting essential household expenses means they may not be able to provide their children with a Christmas gift. This appeal aims to ensure that 300 local children, aged one to twelve, can share in the happiness and excitement of receiving a present at Christmas.
Community support will help create a joyful and inclusive Christmas celebration where every child feels remembered, valued and special. A simple gift can bring a smile to a child’s face, ease pressure on families and create a treasured Christmas memory.
