A young refugee mother who arrived in North Queensland, Australia from Kenya in 2023 is currently six months pregnant and raising her daughter alone after her partner left. Facing financial hardship and limited support in a foreign country, she is preparing to care for two children as a single parent. After unsuccessful attempts to get help from other charities, she is seeking assistance through GIVIT to obtain essential baby items, specifically a pram and a cot.
