This gentleman is a paraplegic who lost absolutely everything during the 2025 Mid North Coast floods. His home and belongings were destroyed, and the impact of the disaster has been compounded by an unimaginable personal tragedy — his father tragically passed away in floodwaters on their property.
He is now facing the enormous challenge of rebuilding his life from the ground up, while also navigating profound grief and trauma. As a person living with a disability, many everyday items are essential for his independence, safety, and dignity, yet these were all lost in the floods.
This is a time of deep loss, adjustment, and resilience.
