This beautiful family have been through multiple floods, including the historic flood in 2022. Recent family domestic violence and marriage breakdown have left them isolated, making each day a battle to survive.
Mum lives with significant disabilities which impacts her daily functioning. Despite this, she remains positive, providing wonderful support to her children, ensuring they eat healthy home cooked food and remain active in sports, dance and their local community.
Their flood impacted home has sold as part of the divorce settlement. However due to the location of the home, the sale value was low, putting them at significant risk of homelessness.
To feel safe, they are relocating interstate where they have been able to find an affordable, flood free area to live.
We are seeking support with cleaning out the property and removalists to help them make this move possible.
