A young Aboriginal father who is working hard to keep his family together during a challenging time. He is currently caring for his 12-month-old daughter and has recently taken on the care of his 5-year-old younger brother, while also supporting his 17-year-old twin brother.
Due to this sudden change in circumstances, the household is lacking essential items. The 5-year-old currently does not have a proper bed or bedding and requires a safe, comfortable place to sleep.
We are seeking a single bed and bedding (mattress, sheets, pillow, and blankets) to support this child’s wellbeing and help him feel secure and settled. Providing this will assist the family to remain stable and connected, keeping the children within their family and culture.
Any support would make a meaningful difference for this young family.
