Today I met a courageous young woman who has escaped Family Violence, sleeping in her car to keep safe while she waited for some secure housing to come through. She was concerned for herself and her baby's future, but due to her persistence in seeking supports and referrals, has found a home.
She may be able to source some assistance for baby items, however, does not yet have a bed to sleep on or some cupboards to store her clothes and items. It would be amazing to reward her bravery and love for her girl, soon to be born with some basic items we may take for granted.
