Our organisation is relocating from our 2022 flood‑affected office to a new flood‑free space on higher ground. During the 2022 floods, water reached the picture railing in our building, and we look forward to a future where we no longer have to wash mud from our walls, floors, and memories.
As a community organisation, we prioritise ensuring that our funding goes directly to the women and families we support. Leaving this building is bittersweet—this space has held countless stories, connections, and moments of resilience. It has been a home for both our staff and the many people who have walked through our doors seeking safety, support, and hope.
As we prepare our new space, we are seeking support to furnish our offices and group room using trauma‑informed design principles, ensuring the environment is safe, welcoming, and deeply supportive of healing. Our goal is to create a space where clients feel calm, respected, and empowered the moment they enter.
