The client is a single mother living with her six-year-old daughter. She has recently escaped a long history of family violence and has been supported by DVCS. For safety reasons, she and her daughter had been staying in a hotel for some time.
Recently, they have been moved into a new home. Unfortunately, the property is completely empty, and she does not have the financial capacity to buy essential items.
She and her young daughter have both been through years of trauma and emotional pain. Now, she is trying to rebuild her life and create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for her daughter.
Any assistance with essential household items such as a bed, sofa, dining table, kitchenware, or other basic needs would make a huge difference in helping this mother and child settle into their new home and start their life anew with dignity and hope.
