A first time unexpected mum who is parenting alone

This mum has a nearly 1 year old son who she was not expecting to have due to health complications, its been a tough first year managing DCP involvement partially due to FDV from the father of the baby, which has meant she has been parenting alone and staying with an old family friend. Her child is very bonded to mum which is causing some challenges during sleep time especially at night, this mum would love a cot with a drop down side to enable her to help settle him into his own bed and sleep space while also protecting her back and wrists.
