54-Year-old man with chronic Mental illness. This man was first diagnosed at the age of 34 and owned his own home and had 4 children. Sadly, due to serious mental illness client lost his home and family and lived many years in and out of homelessness. Connecting Home SHS has supported client to be finally housed safely in a home's NSW. property. Client is socially isolated and as an organization we purchased all of his household goods, however we are limited with funding. Therefore, the request is to bring joy into this man's life by the purchasing of a small CD player with a radio. This man spends 99% of his time alone due to the mental illness. Client is on a DSP however never has any spare finances due to the high costs of general living and rent.
