Following significant childhood trauma, this client spent much of his life experiencing homelessness, poverty and social exclusion. Throughout these challenges, alcohol and other drugs became a way of coping with overwhelming emotional pain and the impacts of long-term trauma.

Today, he is committed to building a different future. He has recently entered a trauma-informed 3 year intensive case management and peer support program and is now living in crisis accommodation, with a pathway to public housing over the coming year.

An exceptionally talented artist, he is looking to reconnect more deeply with painting and drawing as a healthy way to process emotions, express himself and build a meaningful life beyond survival. Art has become an important part of his recovery, offering purpose, routine and a positive outlet that supports his wellbeing.

We are seeking a smart mobile phone so client he can stay connected to his supports to continue his recovery.
